Le Lendemain serie questions the state of current natural spaces, whether in the forest of Fontainebleau or in the tropical lands of Isla Fuerte in Colombia. The images show the remnants of a nature that is either disappearing or transforming due to its own resilience under the influence of climate change.

The use of expired APS film suspends the photographed image and the revealed print. Failure to control the print then embodies our own powerlessness to control nature. This uncertainty disturbs our fantasy of the lost paradise, of our protected green spaces. The whole of the colored mists draws us into a floating, dreamlike and mutant reality.

Thus the deconstruction of the captured landscape allows us to think differently about our ecological commitment by questioning our way of apprehending the world.
