Coming from a transdisciplinary universe, Studio LOKA develops its artistic identity by offering new perspectives of inhabiting and making world(s) together. Drawing on the fields of the poetic and the sensitive, the duo explores the relationships we have with the spaces that surround us and that we occupy, as well as with the entities (human and non-human) who inhabit them, to probe the plurality and the complexity of our relationship to the world. Working primarily in performance, photography and installation, Studio LOKA shares an interest in working with local people and resources, allowing physical, social and emotional synergies to merge. The duo creates mainly in situ projects with a low tech and DIY / DIT philosophy.
